Natural looking Crowns, Inlays & Onlays
Dr. Nadler, has completed considerable advanced training in both the technology of restoring a smile to full function and the art of cosmetic dentistry. Using this knowledge, coupled with using the highest quality materials available, Dr. Nadler creates aesthetic, durable crowns and other restorations.
Crowns are used to restore a broken or chipped tooth, a tooth that has decayed too much for fillings, and cosmetic uses such as stained or crooked teeth. An alternative to a crown for a very decayed tooth is an onlay or inlay. Onlays and inlays are durable porcelain restorations that are placed on top of the tooth. An onlay covers the entire tooth and the inlay is laid between the cusps of the teeth.
If you have cracked, chipped or broken-down teeth, Dr. Nadler will evaluate your smile and teeth to determine which type of restoration will benefit you the most.

Aesthetic, durable restorations
Comfortable, high-quality porcelain crowns
Your new crown will be fitted to be exactly like your original tooth.
Crowns are a type of dental restoration, made with porcelain or metal (gold or metal alloy), or a combination of both. They fully cover the tooth from the gum line up.
Dr. Nadler uses his keen aesthetic eye to pick the right color shade and shape of teeth for your smile. He uses a high-quality porcelain called eMax to create crowns that are also very durable, and which can handle strong biting force.
In many cases, you will be able to get all-porcelain crowns, showing no metal and avoiding any toxicity from metals.
All porcelain crowns
Dr. Nadler works closely with the technician at the high-tech lab where they are created. He uses a high-quality porcelain called eMax by Ivoclar. It is extremely durable and very aesthetic. They are metal-free, therefore, there is no metal along your gum line.

Inlays & Onlays
Inlays and onlays are a more conservative restoration than a crown but more durable than large fillings. Dr. Nadler assesses which restoration would be best for you.
Inlays and onlays are mild dental restorations that fit into your tooth and are milled out of durable, high-quality porcelain. Inlays fit in between the cusps (bumps) of your tooth and onlays fit over one or more of the cusps. This gives the benefit of maintaining the natural tooth structure.
Dental Inlay & Onlay Procedure
- Dr. Nadler will examine and discuss your options.
- At your first appointment, he will prepare your tooth by removing decay and old fillings
- He will take an impression and send it to the technician at the dental lab.
- He will then create a custom tooth colored inlay or onlay for you. However, Dr. Nadler will determine the highest quality material for you.
- You will wear a temporary until your final restoration is ready for you.
- At your second appointment, your completed, beautiful inlay/onlay will be permanently cemented onto your tooth or teeth.
- Then, Dr. Nadler will polish and modify your restoration to ensure proper alignment in your mouth.
