Dental Cleanings & Checkups

You will experience friendly care during your office visit

At Dr. Nadler's, it is recommended that you get regular checkups twice a year to maintain your healthy smile

Preventive and general dental service involves a full-mouth evaluation, cleaning of the teeth and gums, an oral cancer screening, and home-care education. At every appointment you will receive a review of your current oral health condition. You will then receive Dr. Nadler's recommendations as to what you should be doing to maintain healthy teeth. The more informed you are about your teeth and gums, the healthier you can keep your smile, long-term.

Gum Disease

Did you know that gum disease is the number one cause of adult tooth loss in the U.S.? Most people who have gum disease don't even know it as they do not make their dental visit twice per year, as recommended. If gum disease (a serious bacterial infection) is left untreated, it will slowly destroy the attachment of your teeth to the gum and bones which then cause tooth loss. In addition, research has shown a link between periodontal disease and other health issues, such as cardiovascular (heart) disease, osteoporosis, stroke, and pregnancy complications.

Office Visit

When you come into our office, Dr. Nadler will perform a complete exam to look for signs of gum disease or other issues like tooth decay. If he finds a problem, he will develop a treatment plan to restore your oral health. Regular professional cleanings, which include periodontal examinations, and adequate home care generally control gum disease.
